Great shoe silhouette I like the way the shoes sole gradually tapers from heel-toe, the shoes thread traction was vary well thought out, also some good ankle collar/heel padding, vary slim fitting and snug (not recommended for wide foooters, though it loosens with time) Impact-I cushioning works but theirs not much benefit on flatground and low impact skating like flat bars and ledges but for those that do big sets, drops etc the Impact-I cushioning will for sure save you some heel/foot pain. Much heavier then expected, when looking at pics of the shoes sole I assumed the cut-outs and Impact-I holes would greatly reduce the weight of the shoes sole and was surprised to find that the Impact-I cushioning is still fairly heavy, these shoes are heavily heel weighted, you can for sure feel the weight of the Impact-I cushioning... but that could be a fair trade for those that need added impact protection. Vary snug fit for two reasons, the lace eyelets have a taper thats vary narrow at the bottom towards the toes, and widens toward the top of tongue but by design is vary restrictive and doesnt allow you to really loosen the laces/overall fit of the shoe... Combine that issue with the tongues tethering being a 2-3in wide mesh... these could be a laceless shoe and still fit perfectly snug. The biggest con for me was the lack of breathability. having some decent sized mesh paneling on the shoe, I expected some good ventilation but unfortunately the aforementioned tongue tether is way over designed instead of being simple little straps... its the same mesh as the side of the shoes and being 2-3in wide the shoe might aswell be all leather, cause the mesh side panels are basically all blocked by a second mesh layer inside the shoe which greatly reduces the breathability/moisture wicking capabilities of the shoe...Added pics to illustrate my points. Overall glad to have tried them, likely wont buy them again but would recommend to those that skate true high impact obstacles.
