Vasco Ribeiro was a standout surfer of a Round 2 of a 2012 Billabong World Junior Championships, during Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, Australia. The Portuguese surfer scored an nearby ideal 9.50 on his opening float opposite Deivid Silva, from Brazil.
“The waves are good so we attempted to do my best,” Ribeiro said. “I’ve got a good house and we held a prolonged wave, all came together for me. I’m unequivocally happy to be here during a Billabong World Junior Championships, everybody surfs so good, so we always have to always be during your best.”
