I love to have my son wear shoes that are "in" but he is hard on sneakers and i find that I have to replace the DC's quicker than cheaper brands. Also, DC;s runa 1/2 a size smaller and are much narrower than regular sneakers, but the styles make up for the tricks we have to go through to make them wider to fit him.
