"Spartan" means simple and bold. The Spartan HI WC is all that and then some. Its upper is made from durable suede, nubuck or leather, and its tongue and heel collar are foam padded for comfort and support. The upper has vent holes for breathability and TPU eyelets. Constructed using performance wrap sole technology. Abrasion-resistant sticky rubber outsole and DC's trademarked pill pattern graces the tread. Imported.

Well my son said they were great when we first got them. But not even a month of wearing them the seams are coming apart and the rubber around the side is letting go from the rest of the shoe. Not very happy with this pair of shoes. I will add that we bought a pair of DC shoes last year in Febuary and he has gone back to wearing them as they are still in great shape.

My son is very active. His bicycle is his means of transportation and he takes full advantage. He rides and does tricks down at the skate park all the time. He requests DC high tops for biking. He says they do not wear out as fast, do not get in his way when he does tricks and are excellent for stopping. You have a wonderful product and I would not change a thing.
