The Cortex has a custom colorway designed by Travis Pastrana. The shoe's upper is made from action leather and nubuck, and features injected TPR lace eyelets and tongue logo. The striking DC logo on the side features a TPR outline. The Cortex also features woven carbon fiber underlays, heel airbag, and Molded TPR Heel Counter. The midsole is CMEVA, while the sole features DC's trademarked pill pattern. Imported.

Just bought those shoes, and took then to Cuba for a week with out being worn in, and I could wear them no problem the whole week. After at least a dozen compliments I realized who needs anything else. I've recently switched from bike shox to the pastrana brand shoes and haven't looked back. Would recommend every day of the week!

Mine came with more red on them then they were showing in the photos, which was ok, but then the red started peeling off. DC Issued a refund and took them back no questions asked, but I don't think I will reorder.
