These shoes really surprised me. I started wearing them while I was training for a triathlon last year, and ended up wearing them for the actual event instead of my Nikes.
The only activity I don't wear my DCs for is cross training; they don't have quite enough cushion for my feet. But other than that, these are amazing shoes. I prefer these over my brand new FreeRuns.
I even recommended them to my physiotherapist, who is quite the shoe connoisseur.

I was very excited when I saw DC made shoes with my two favorite colors, I even bought bright green laces to emphasize them! I purchased the Atlas lite; turquoise and was very dissapointed to discover my shoes felt a full size too small! Now I own 8 other pairs of DC shoes and countless other brands and I am a dead on 9.5, I didn't even question buying online. I was so surprized that I checked the box and inside the shoe to make sure there wasn't a mix up in sizes. Nope, no mix up. I would recommend buying a bigger size (how much bigger I'm not sure of yet until I get my new shoes) just to make you're not in the position I am currently in.

I thought these shoes would also work for high impact at the gym i.e. Zumba and running but I felt they were better suited for walking, skating, etc. I probably read the description incorrectly but I did return them because I needed gym shoes not another pair of cute DCs. Super comfy, light-weight, awesome-looking sneaks, just not what I needed at this time. Bottom line: they don't seem suited for high intensity gym activities.

I loved these shoes when I first saw them. I got them in black with the hot pink soles. they are really comfortable and great to wear throughout the day. I might wear them around for a walking day like at an amusement park or a shopping trip with friends. But, they are a bit on the stiff side, so using them for a 'walking workout' or jogging is a def no go.
