It is partially my bad for buying the white/black color option for these shoes. I was looking to buy a pair of white shoes that have that more liquid repellent material to wipe clean my shoes. Even though the white/black picture looks as if they are made from a different material they are not. Anything that would spill on the white pair would absorb and stain right away. These shoes would be good for going out in. Just don't get the white/black color option. If you've been to any bar or club and look at your white shoes the next day. They will bound to be scuffed and dirty.
Also if you have wide feet like myself these shoes are comfortable. Finding shoes that are not too narrow are kind of hard to find without jumping into that super bulky shoe category.
